Finally ordering the rear fender and seat this week but until they come in I went ahead and put a few pieces on the bike.

A little paint to pass the time

Since I am waiting on my finances to recover from Christmas so I can purchase the remaining parts to get the bike road ready I decided to play with some painting in my garage.

Started out sanding the parts I would reuse and fixed a few scratches. Then ran to my local auto parts house and picked a few cans of Satin Black paint and began painting the tins.

Now this isn't the final paint for the project but it turned out pretty good so I might leave it for a little while.

ebay Rant

Well I finally had my first run in with ebay.
I have been selling parts off of my bike that I don't plan to reuse on this Bobber Project . After a few successful transactions I ran across an asshole who was not "satisfied" with the product. He purchased the fender for the Buy It Now price (there was no reserve), instead of bidding on it. He contacted me after he received it and said he wasn't satisfied, his email read " You described the fender as a few minor scratches there are clearly 4 or 5 on the fender and 1 is almost two inches long how do you want to resolve this". Well it turns out he wanted half his money back and to keep the fender. Long story short I refused to refund half his money so he reported me to ebay and they sided with him. He shipped the fender back and ebay refunded his money. Now everything is back to where I started and I am out the money I used to ship him the fender. This may seem trivial to some but I described the fender as best I could and stated Sold as is in the description. I will continue to sell shit on the site because it is convenient and easier that traveling to swap-meets, but the site is becoming more of a pain in the ass than what it's worth.
